Owners and alpacas will have to abide by AOBA’s nine month rule. Reference 5-11,12 in 2008 AOBA Show Division Handbook. An alpaca/exhibitor is disqualified from showing in front of a Judge if the Judge has acted as a consultant within nine months prior to the date of the show. What this means is that you would need to use a different handler or show other non previously viewed alpacas in front of that Judge during that time frame. Participants at educational clinics are absolved of this rule since it is for educational purposes, including the host. |
